3 Things To Know About CBN Distillate

THC and cannabidiol (CBD) are the two main products humans use from the cannabis plant. But there are at least 100 more waiting for us to extract.

One cannabinoid seeing a rise in popularity is cannabinol or CBN. Cannabinoid products like CBN distillate are hitting the market fast. And people are starting to see promising benefits.

But because it’s a lesser cannabinoid, there’s some doubt about how it’s made and its health effects. Keep reading and we’ll set the record straight with these three important facts about CBN.

1. Where Does CBN Come From?

Scientists used to think that cannabinol was the main cannabinoid in plants. They forgot to factor in that they were looking at plants they harvested long before. They learned that when THC oxidizes (due to age), it loses a key compound in its molecular structure – and CBN forms.

Certain cannabis products like THC and CBD have a unique means of extraction from the plant. CBN is no different, but the way you extract it is from aged plants.

Producers make CBN distillate using what they call “chromatography.” They expose the plant to light, air, and heat – until enough time passes to form a liquid.

Then they bottle the liquid and market it to those who have an interest in cannabis products like CBD. Like CBD, CBN doesn’t have the psychoactive effects we associate with THC.

2. How Do You Find CBN Distillate?

Finding CBN is easy. You can start by looking through your favorite CBD website and see if they have cannabinol for sale. If they do, they’ll come in small bottles filled with viscous oil.

Many labs that make CBD and other concentrates are starting to see how making CBN benefits them. The equipment they use is so universal that producing cannabinol carries little risk.

Many apothecaries use bulk CBN distillate from these manufacturers. With it, they make a variety of health and beauty products. You can find CBN tinctures, creams, and oral remedies, or you can try making them yourself!

3. What Are the Benefits?

When you buy CBN distillate, you hope for the calming, relaxing benefits CBD brings. Many consumers say they feel relief from anxiety and that they can sleep better.

But you should know that there is a small risk with taking CBN. The CBN distillates we see on the market are newer cannabis products. They haven’t been through rigorous testing or widespread use like TCH and CBD have.

Many people have started taking CBN and they’re enjoying its soothing effects daily. Take a look at your history with CBD and keep this in mind when you’re looking at CBN distillate for sale.

Is Cannabinol Right For You?

CBN distillate is developing fast and becoming more available now than ever before. Knowledge is key, especially if it could relieve symptoms of anxiety and depression.
