Our mental and emotional state is more specific than our physical state. For example, it’s very easy to think that “I” need to be more self-aware, so whenever I see a homeless person, I think of all the things I can do to help them or help myself. I imagine all the different ways I can be helpful to them or myself.
As another example, we’ve all heard the saying, “If you think about the worst thing that can happen to you, think about the best thing that can happen to you.” We can’t do this with our bodies, so we have to use the mental state of self-awareness to think about the things we can control. So we can think in terms of our self-awareness and use it to think of ways we can help ourselves.
So, for example, imagine that you want to create a new life for someone and you are stuck in a time loop. I’m stuck in a time loop too. So, I have a list of things I can do to help them in the future I don’t like. I can think of ways to help myself. For example, I can think of ways to help them and myself if they just let us go to a new time loop.
We can’t just think of ways to help ourselves. If you want to help someone, that’s your job. It’s not our job, so to speak to think of ways to do this for us. We can only think in terms of ourselves. We can’t think in terms of other people. We can’t think in terms of ideas or situations. We can’t think in terms of time.
Our minds are always looking for patterns, and there’s no better way to test it than doing something different. By going to a new time loop, we can see if a certain strategy works.
One of the most useful things about time loops is that they are very forgiving. That is, they allow you to change your strategy without disrupting the loop. The problem is, you can only test the loop, and the loop can only test the loop. If you make a new loop to test if your new strategy will work, you’d better be prepared to live with the consequences. So in a sense, a loop is an opportunity. It is the time that you take advantage of.
This is why time loops work. They allow you to test things, but by their very nature, they don’t work. If you’re trying to time-loop, you have no idea when the loop will be set up to begin testing your new strategy, and it’ll take you a long time to figure out when to time-loop.
But what if youre running out of time? Or youre not even close to getting your loop set up? So instead of time-looping, you could create loop-pushing, that is, looping on purpose.
We can often find that there are times when we have no time or we can’t figure out a good time to loop. For example, we have all the time in the world, but we just can’t decide when to time-loop. It’s time for the next thing, and we don’t have any idea what that is. We have all the time in the world, but we don’t know when we’ll get the next thing.
As I mentioned earlier, there are times when there isnt much time. When I was working on this research paper, the last thing I wanted to do was talk about something that I knew nothing about. So I started out with the question, “Is there a way to time-loop?” The answer is yes, but it is not simple. It is a very technical process and it requires a lot of knowledge.
