Different Procedures Of Teeth Whitenting!

Teeth whitening treatment is a method of improving the appearance of teeth. This process is usually done as part of dentistry, creating a long-lasting, harmless effect lasting up to several years. There are many different kinds of tooth whitening because the procedure works differently on each individual’s teeth they apply it to.

There are three key ingredients involved in all forms of teeth whitening: hydrogen peroxide, carbamide peroxide, and sodium fluoride. Dental professionals use shades to suit their customers’ needs depending on the methods used during each phase and how much time is spent on applying them. In addition, the times for applying these ingredients will vary depending on the technological advances and customer needs.

  • Some basic Information:

There are many different forms of whitening teeth, each with pros and cons. Not all of these methods can be superimposed. It works by using low-voltage electricity to activate the ingredients, which leads to brightening the teeth by removing surface stains.

Another form of teeth whitening is using acids activated by the ingredients mentioned above and some applied to the teeth. These acids can be applied to the teeth with a brush or gel. This method also is excellent at removing stains caused by tobacco, tea, coffee, and red wine drinks. It takes around 4 minutes to get maximum results. All these forms of teeth whitening are significant, but they all have pros and cons that depend on the individual’s needs.

  • Electronic teeth whitening:

It is the only safe method for kids; it doesn’t leave a burning sensation in their mouths and doesn’t cause sensitivity in their gums. For kids, it is also super easy to keep track of their teeth brushing and flossing because they can do it independently. People who use this method have experienced smiles five times faster than those who did not use any form of teeth whitening. In addition, it dries quickly, has no mess, and doesn’t stain clothing.

The negative side of this method is that it needs an assistant to help the patient throughout the process. In addition, it takes a while to achieve maximum results, which is why it can be time-consuming and sometimes expensive, depending on the cost of the procedure and the number of treatments. It is a fact that electronic teeth whitening are worth to wait.

  • Acidic teeth whitening:

This method is super easy for novice users, and the results can be seen faster than other methods. It costs less than different types of teeth whitening because the effect can last from 2 to 6 months. It is better for short-term use as compared to other methods. It also takes longer to achieve maximum results than any other method mentioned above, but it is cheaper than most. All this comes at a higher risk of making your teeth sensitive.

  • Hollywood smiles:

Dental professionals use unique methods to whiten the teeth and make them look whiter and brighter, making them great for short-term use. It is a costly method used by people who want to improve their appearance by lightening their teeth. However, it achieves maximum results in a short time, usually 3-4 days after visiting the dentist.

The effects of this method are not permanent, so you need to visit your dentist every six months to ensure your teeth don’t get darker or become sensitive. However, dentists recommend that this method only take three months to one year.

  • Zoom whitening treatment:

What is zoom whitening treatment? It works to match your teeth’s color with the shades of other teeth. The goal is to make the teeth look like a movie set. The highest quality treatment is done in a dentist’s office because it is more powerful to use only one type of treatment on all the teeth. Zooming Whitening dentists will ensure that they have no process breakdown or delays, which can cause the whole treatment to fail or change. Zoom whitening whitens the teeth in one session with up to 10 years guarantee.

However, in-office bleaching is better because it doesn’t use high-concentration hydrogen peroxide, which is used for Zoom. In-office bleaching will also make your teeth more resistant to the damaging effects of sugar and other acid food products. It will remove plaque and surface stains from foods you regularly consume, such as coffee, tea, and wine.

  • Whitening Strips:

It is the easiest way to whiten teeth. People with sensitive teeth and gums can use the strips. They are easy to apply and remove anytime, but they are not too effective if you have stains caused by tobacco, coffee, tea, or red wine drinks. You should use them with regular brushing and flossing to get maximum results.

  • Laser Bleaching:

It is a type of teeth whitening that works only by using laser light. It is the most expensive form of teeth whitening, and there are no chances of sensitivity. It also gives you the longest time on your teeth because it lasts for years without any side effects. Also, the procedure takes less than 5 minutes to complete, but if you want to get maximum results, it will take even a minute or two more than this.

  • Whitening trays:

It is an effective teeth-whitening method that you can use at home. It works by applying high-intensity light to the teeth that remove stains caused by smoking, coffee, or tea. Some people also use a similar form of treatment for other purposes, such as eliminating tetracycline discolorations, tooth decay, and tartar.

There are no adverse effects of using this method because you only have to be outside in direct sunlight for 40 minutes without any protection, and it will last 3 to 6 months depending on what kind of teeth bleach you want.

Conclusion:

Each of the types mentioned above of teeth whitening is known for its pros and cons. However, it doesn’t matter how you want to get that smile as long as you continue with your plan for teeth whitening. In addition, using teeth whitening products can help you avoid spending a lot of money on fixing the discoloration of gums and teeth.
