The game developer company (Epic Games) has released an update explaining what is happening with its server-side issues which include crashes, corrupted saves, or other problems related to its online gaming service. The message came to inform players that the company is aware of some network issues when performing checks related to platform restrictions for Fortnite.

Despite this, Epic Games has not confirmed any information about what kind of problems are happening at its servers and there’s been no official announcement yet on how these difficulties will be fixed or whether a new update will come soon to solve them.

Some users have also reported they can’t use their account because it says “network failed” which would prevent them from playing without connecting to an online server. Other gamers are now reporting similar messages after launching the game again following recent patch updates while others say they still cannot play because the system returns error messages such as ‘server unavailable’.

To make things easier in case of players were wondering, Fortnite’s network status page on the company website states that there is no planned maintenance for now.

Epic Games has announced the release of Patch v27.0 which brought many bug fixes in addition to new details such as a new vehicle and weapon skins available in store that can be bought with V-Bucks or real currency according to users’ preference.

The first one was called Clique and it costs 500Vbucks while the second is named Double Barrel Shotgun Pro Pack which also comes at 500 credits, but doesn’t include any cosmetics like emotes or sprays aside from two rare ones: Breakpoint Glider Redeemed & Dark Voyager Outfit Redeemed. However, these are not enough so Epic Games has also introduced a new currency called V-Bucks which can be bought with real money and used to purchase cosmetic items in the game.

This is not without its drawbacks, as it raises many questions about whether or not Fortnite will become Pay-to-Win but Epic Games’ response was that “the vast majority of our cosmetics are available for free”

and that “the skins, emotes and other cosmetics you can get from the store are only purchasable with V-Bucks.”
