“How to Choose the Right Theme for PowerPoint Presentations”

When you start creating a new PowerPoint presentation, one of the first decisions you need to make is which theme to use. There are many different themes that come with Microsoft PowerPoint, and they each have their own strengths and weaknesses. The best way to choose a theme is by figuring out what your goal for the presentation is; there are several types, so we’ll go over them briefly in this article.

What type of content will you be presenting?

The type of content you will be presenting is the first thing you should ask yourself when choosing a theme. If your presentation has lots of text and slides with graphs, charts or data to show, then choose a theme that has large fonts and more space on each slide for information. This would include themes like “Bright” or “Classic.” On the other hand, if your presentation consists mainly of pictures (or videos) without any words at all, then go ahead and use one of those cool transitional effects that are available in PowerPoint -like animated transitions (“Cross Fade”) or _____’s own Spotlight plugin can create really nice effects by using different colored backgrounds for each page change).

There are many different things you will need when creating a PowerPoint presentation. One of the most important aspects is selecting an appropriate theme for your presentation. There are always going to be some people who don’t like any of the themes Microsoft offers, and then there’s usually just one or two that fit in with what they were trying to do originally. If you can find options that allow more creativity through adding images or changing fonts, this would probably make life easier on everyone involved because they won’t have too much control over everything else from here on out if their needs aren’t met by default. Themes also come with color schemes already preloaded so that every slide has a cohesive feel without having to worry about how to make it work.

This is the first sentence of a story. Remember to include every word and punctuation mark when you copy it into your post, just like this example:

When I began creating my presentation…

 My PowerPoint still looked terrible!

This was because I didn’t know the basics about how to choose a theme for presentations.

It’s hard choosing colors that match one another yet look good together on slides with text, graphics, and drawings in them; but there are some general things you can do which will help make your choice easier. Here are four great tips for finding an appropriate color scheme for all those different types of content found in most presentations today:

Tip #01 – Avoid monochromatic schemes:

Tip #02 – Use one color as a highlight:

Tip #03 – Contrast background colors with foreground text and graphics.

Tip #04 – Keep it simple when choosing your PowerPoint theme!

The key when choosing a PowerPoint theme is to focus on just one color. Figure out what type of content you’re going to have in your presentation and then choose the colors accordingly. For example, if you want graphics that portray numbers or statistics, but also need text for people’s names or company information; this would be an excellent time to use two different shades of blue – maybe light blue for the background and navy blue as a highlight.

These tips might seem ridiculously basic, but they are often the ones that people (including me!) forget about when starting to create a new presentation. And I’m so glad I found them because now my presentations look great too!”

I’ve always been able to create great slides with little effort whenever we needed them in school or work projects before now. But when I created my own personal slideshow on Keynote, it wasn’t turning out as well as I had hoped. The text font ended up being too small or big while trying to fit everything onto one slide without having any white space left over; some of the colors I chose weren’t working well together, or some of my graphics needed to be altered.

It was when I saw a presentation on SlideShare done by someone else that it dawned on me what had gone wrong. For starters, font sizes need _____ and not just any size in order for everything to fit better without having white space left over. Next, picking the right color scheme is key – if you’re doing text slides with bullet points use light blue as your background which will help focus attention onto your words while navy blue can work great for photos or graphs.”
