This post might seem like it was written in the middle of the night. I’m not sure how to describe this, but I’ve been trying to explain something to myself for the last few days. I have decided that I’ve been looking at non-linear lines as I’ve been thinking about the concepts of time, space, and cause and effect. It’s been a really strange feeling.

To me this is the hardest thing to explain because I don’t know how you can be a part of A line and then be a part of another B line. But if you try it, you will find that you can. An example is that if you have a linear line from A to B and C to D, and then B to E and D to F, then if you have a line from C to F, you can be part of a line from A to F.
I had an interesting discussion with someone who is also interested in non-linear lines. He told me that the word “line” in the title of this article should probably be replaced by “non-linear line.” This is because all the lines in the world are not the same.
