There’s something that everyone says “high islands” that goes well beyond just being there. I’ve had the same idea before when I have been working on my high islands. When I first started, we were all just talking about the fact that we were all going to the same place. The only way we could be on the same page was to get up at the same time.
It’s easy to get lost in the details. Theres a reason that high islands are so important. Because high islands are where you have your best friends, your best enemies, and you get to be alone.
As I mentioned before, high islands are where you feel like you can actually be yourself. They are places where you can have your own space and just be.
I get to be my self in high islands. That doesn’t mean I can’t also be a little weird and not everyone else. I have this friend who really seems to have a “thing” with a guy who wears a mask all the time and has a big old beard. I like being weird. I don’t really understand that so I go out of my way to be weird. But I’m still weird and I have this friend who is a weirdo too.
High islands have a tendency for being too big. I just don’t get that. I really do have a tendency for high islands that I think are a lot better than others. I think the most important reason for high islands is the people who build them. They make the people who build them more attractive and that causes the people who build them more to have a strong relationship with the people who build them more attractive.
High islands are more often than not in the middle of nowhere. If you want to get the most out of your high island, you’re going to need to get the people who live in those high islands as their friends. They might not be your friends to begin with, but they’re going to be your friends because you’re going to be going to their parties, going to their concerts, going to their movies, going to their stuff, etc.
For high islands, you want to bring friends from near and far to your party. This means all sorts of people that youre probably going to associate with in your life and probably going to hang out with in your space. This can mean your friends from work, your friends from school, your friends from church, your friends from your favorite club, your friends from your favorite sports team, etc.
