Even though you might not use your vehicle much, you will use it for certain trips and during winter, you will want to have it properly prepared with emergency previsions. Chicago, IL is locked into the middle of America, but that does not mean it lacks available beaches. Although you will not be catching a wave on Lake Michigan, it does have plenty of sand, summer fun, and activities to take part in. Beach life is real life here in Chicago and they have plenty of beaches to choose from. Oak Street Beach, North Avenue Beach, Montrose Beach, and 31st Beach are just a few beaches you can enjoy throughout the summer. Visit them all and find your favorite beach right in your new hometown of Chicago.

You Will Not Go Hungry

One of the greatest aspects of Chicago, IL is its diversity. Chicago is a city that embraces multiple cultures, and this beautiful aspect is represented in their various restaurants. Chicago has well over 8,000 different restaurants to try out. Restaurants such as Portillo’s offer the traditional Chicago dogs and Pequod’s or Lou Malnati’s is where you go for the pinnacle of deep-dish pizzas. However, do not limit yourself to just these regional foods. Take the time to explore and find your favorite food spots throughout Chicago, IL.

Chicago is a city of life. It is forever growing and even though it is currently the largest midwestern city in the nation, that does not mean its growth has ceased. Moving to Chicago, IL can be challenging for some, but in this city, they strive to embrace newcomers, so you will quickly be welcomed into your neighborhood and come to think of the city as your home. Chicago offers vast personal and professional growth potential for individuals and their families.
