When Does the Starlight Festival Start in Prodigy 2020?

The Starlight Festival is a huge event in Prodigy 2020. It is an annual celebration that takes place for five days every year, beginning on the first day of summer and ending on the evening of the fifth day. There are many fun things to do at the festival, from food to games and more! To find out when this year’s festivities will start, read below:

Before we get into when exactly does it start (and ends), let’s take a look around where you can expect to see during your visit each night.

There are six main areas throughout Prodigy 2020 that host different activities such as archery contests or athletic competitions.

On either side of Main Street stands colorful banners with pictures of all the festival’s past winners.

We recommend starting your visit on the east side of Main Street along with our friends in Adventureland, where you can find a number of carnival games and rides!

On this end, you will also spot an old-fashioned carousel that children just love to ride when they stop by for fun or inspiration. We should mention there are some rather large roller coasters nearby if you want more thrills than chills! On the west side, we have Campfire Circle where people gather around a huge fire pit each night as we tell stories about magic and mystery (and maybe even dare someone to go jump into it). You’ll see something similar over near The Village close by Fort Bragg.

One of the most popular attractions is our nightly fireworks, which are set off from a large barge on the water.

If you haven’t seen them before, wow! It’s an amazing show that fills up our sky with light and colors all for your enjoyment. Every night when it starts to get dark around here, we head out to find a spot close by because everyone wants front row seats for this spectacular display of pyrotechnics in Prodigy 2020!

The Starlight Carnival is typically open for a couple of hours, so don’t worry if it’s closing time before you get there. If your kids are looking to ride some carnival rides after dark, head on over to our other attractions inside The Big Top! We have bumper cars and twister slides that they can enjoy through the night until 11:00 pm each evening during our starlight season. And while they’re waiting in line, make sure to check out all of those delicious treats at the concession stand! Everything from ice cream sodas or cotton candy to a funnel cake or corn dog!

We are very excited about next year’s annual event: the Prodigy Star Light Festival! The last one took place on December 21st so we’re still eagerly waiting to find out exactly when this year’ will take place. We do know that they typically happen around the end of November and last until December 21st, but we’ll be sure to let you know as soon as the date is announced. The starlight festival starts on the 20th of November this year. It was originally set for December, but due to the new day and date system, it has been moved back one month earlier as a result. The observance falls on November’s shortest night when people are encouraged to turn off their lights in order to celebrate nature’s darkness and ponder life cycle events such as births, deaths, and rebirths. The goal is for people to take a night off from their daily activities in order to relax and appreciate the cycles of life.

The festival includes a free shuttle from our parking lot over to the Festival Park so that’s an easy way for locals (and visitors) who want to enjoy all aspects of this event.
