I know I’m not the only one who has had this issue. You get your new armor and it doesn’t match with anything you have in your wardrobe! This guide will help you figure out when your armor doesn’t match, why it’s happening, and some solutions to fix the problem.
when your armor doesn’t match:
This is a very common issue that many players face. Sometimes the new armor you get will not match with any of the gear you have in your wardrobe, and this guide will help fix it! It’s important to note that sometimes there are other possible reasons for this happening. For example, if a game update causes newer items to be higher level than what you’re wearing, then those older pieces won’t offer bonuses anymore because they were designed at lower levels. But most likely if we’re talking about mismatched colors or patterns, then it’s usually due to swapping sets around from different expansions or games. There can also be issues where some armors may just not work well together (for example heavy armor may not work well with light armor). While there are many different ways to fix this, here’s a quick and easy way that should get your wardrobe looking great in no time.
Level 100 gear often has the best stats, but it can also be more difficult to acquire than lower-level armors because of how random drops from mobs works at high levels. If you have some good pieces for other slots but still want an upgrade for one slot then you might need either farming or buying new items from the Auction House (AH) so keep that in mind when going through these steps! We’ll assume we’re talking about heavy armor being mismatched with something else since those tend to be the most complicated cases.
When first starting out, you usually have to choose either a weapon or armor when creating your character and it’s possible that you got the wrong one. But don’t let this stop you from having fun!
As is only fair, if they’re mismatched then there are ways of making them match so feel free to experiment with different combinations until something works for both slots (we’ll talk about how some armors might need special treatment in a moment). Here are three options:
Option #A) If light armor matches heavy armor but not vice versa – swap out weapons and shields.
The first step will be swapping any matching items between the two sets of equipment which makes things easier for us since we know what stats each set provides. For example, if you have a heavy armor set with an iron shield and a dark sword, then that same light armor set would need to be equipped with either an iron or steel shield (and the weapon swapped accordingly) and a bronze sword.
Option #B) If both sets of armors are different but not matching – switch items between them until they match up in stats:
For this option, you’ll want to compare each stat on the two sets of equipment to see which one is better for your playstyle. The trade-off here will be deciding what combination works best based on how much you value certain stats over others. For instance, maybe some players really like having more HP, so when trading weapons from their light armor to their heavy armor, they’ll give up some attack power for more HP instead.
Option #C) If both sets of armors are different but not matching – use the one that has better stats:
For this option, you’ll want to compare each stat on the two sets of equipment to see which one is better for your playstyle. The trade-off here will be deciding what combination works best based on how much you value certain stats over others. For instance, maybe some players really like having more HP, so when trading weapons from their light armor to their heavy armor, they’ll give up some attack power for more HP instead.
Option #D) Use the armor with better stats:
This means using whichever set of equipment has better stat points in the area you value more, whether that’s HP or attack power. For example, some players might be willing to give up a little bit of defense from their light armor and use heavy armor instead because they don’t care about getting hit as much since they can take hits easier due to higher HP! This is also an option when your weapons match but not armors – if both sets are good but one just happens to have slightly better stats than the other, it may be worth swapping out sometimes for those extra points in different areas depending on what type of player you are.
