Other main actors include Nicholas Turturro, Rhys Ifans, Aidan Kelly, and Ophelia Lovibond.
The show aired on CBS for the first two seasons before switching to their sister channel, PBS Kids for its third season when it was canceled by CBS due to low ratings.
Elementary provides a modernized version of Sherlock Holmes as he solves crimes in New York City using his wits (and occasionally some forensics). His archenemy is Professor Moriarty who deals with him through plans that are often more complex than mere murder; such as serial kidnappings or gaslighting.
